OUVRY is part of the second cohort of the Nuclear Accelerator program, launched by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance, and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty in partnership with Bpifrance.
A Strategic Program for Civil Nuclear Industry Players
The Nuclear Accelerator program targets civil nuclear industry players—including large international groups, SMEs, and start-ups—with high growth potential. Its goal is to help companies rethink their market positioning and business models amid geopolitical and national upheavals, while unlocking their full potential.
Four Key Pillars to Address the Challenges of France’s New Nuclear Sector
The program is structured around four main themes:
Managing growth:
- Responding to the rapid expansion of the nuclear sector
- Investing in specialized skills and expertise
- Expanding international presence and developing integrated offerings for global tenders
Enhancing Operational Performance:
- Improving industrial quality and efficiency
- Strengthening data digitization and security
- Adopting best practices in client and supplier relationships
Adapting to Geopolitical and Environmental Changes
- Keeping up with regulations linked to France’s new nuclear initiatives
- Supporting ecological transition and corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts
Employer Branding
- Retaining and motivating employees
- Developing internal skills and expertise
18-Month Tailored Support
OUVRY is among 30 companies selected for this program, all specializing in nuclear technologies with strong growth ambitions.
Over 18 months, the program provides:
- Tailored guidance to adapt business models to nuclear industry challenges
- Personalized support from a Bpifrance advisor to identify key growth levers
- Training on critical development topics delivered by École Polytechnique
- Networking opportunities within the nuclear ecosystem, including Bpifrance, GIFEN, and Nuclear Valley.
The program began on March 25, 2025. Two seminars have already taken place—June on commercial performance and October on strategy. The next seminar, scheduled for January 14, will focus on governance, followed by a sector-focused day on international positioning. OUVRY takes part in all of these workshops.
A Growth, Networking, and International Expansion Opportunity for OUVRY
By joining the Nuclear Accelerator program, OUVRY demonstrates its commitment to growth in the nuclear sector. As a member of Nuclear Valley, the group has expanded significantly in the personal protective equipment (PPE) sector for the French nuclear industry. OUVRY supplies key organizations such as EDF (including the Rapid Nuclear Action Force, FARN), the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), and the Pelotons Spécialisés de Protection de la Gendarmerie (PSPG, specialized platoons of the Gendarmerie).
Participation in the program allows OUVRY to strengthen its network within the nuclear ecosystem and expand international market opportunities.
