Leading international event dedicated to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives (CBRNe) risk management, the CBRNe Summit Europe 2026 takes place in Lyon, France, from 3rd to 5th February 2026 .

Supported by Lyon firefighters, the summit focuses this year on Mediterranean CBRNe capabilities and managing CBRNe incidents in warm/hot weather conditions.
Live demonstrations to open the summit
The summit will begin with demonstrations and exercises conducted by the Sapeurs-Pompiers de Lyon and the Lyon City Police CBRNe unit, showcasing their equipment, vehicles, and operational capabilities.
Series of conferences addressing key CBRNe challenges
The following two days will be structured around conferences covering essential NRBCe topics:
- emerging CBRNe threats,
- capabilities of civil and military agencies,
- response to HAZMAT incidents,
- medical countermeasures,
- preparedness for mass casualty incidents,
- updates on the European RescEU program,
- international CBRNe training programs.
