From 21st to 23rd October 2026, OUVRY team exhibits at FUTURE FORCES, in Prague, an event dedicated to cutting-edge defence and security technologies, expert panels and working group sessions.

Laurent Robert, Head of Strategy at Ouvry and CBRN senior advisor, presents the concept of Polycombi® Coyote on 22nd October within the CBRN Defence Technology & Innovation Forum.

The CBRN Defence Technology & Innovation Forum creates an international platform connecting CBRN experts, operational practitioners, and relevant stakeholders so that technological innovation meets operational reality.

You can read an extract of the presentation below.

POLYCOMBI® COYOTE — A NEW CBRN SUIT CONCEPT FOR SHORT- AND MEDIUM-TERM MISSIONS FOR THE ARMED FORCES

As modern military forces face an increasingly complex and unpredictable CBRN threat landscape, the demand for lightweight, cost-effective, and operationally versatile protective garments has never been greater. Short-duration missions — reconnaissance, intervention, decontamination operations or even military operations within national territory — require solutions that balance genuine protection with mobility, thermal comfort, and affordability.

The latest evolution of the field-proven POLYCOMBI® CBRN coverall is to meet the operational requirements of military end-users. Designed for short/medium duration missions, the POLYCOMBI® Coyote delivers certified CBRN protection with a guaranteed post-contamination protection window of 12 hours, enabling forces to complete their mission and safely reach decontamination facilities even after exposure. The CBRN suit is still compliant with AEP 38 standards (e.g. 10 g/m² contamination) but for 12 hours instead of 24 hours.

The POLYCOMBI® Coyote stands out as the most competitive offer currently available on the market, combining three decisive performance criteria:

  • CBRN protection: certified resistance against chemical warfare agents, biological threats, and radiological particles, in compliance with applicable NATO and international standards;
  • Thermophysiological performance: engineered for operational comfort, the garment minimizes heat stress and maintains wearer performance across demanding environmental conditions, a critical factor for sustained mission execution;
  • Cost-efficiency: the POLYCOMBI® Coyote delivers a protection level previously associated with significantly higher procurement costs, offering defence procurement authorities an unprecedented value-for-protection ratio.

The coyote colorway has been specifically selected to align with standard military field uniforms, facilitating seamless integration into existing force structures without compromising tactical discretion.
