The Ouvry group will celebrate its 20th anniversary in November 2023. Specialist in personal protection systems, particularly against chemical threats, this SME has been based in Lyon since 2003. Having become an industrial group with the acquisition of Sulitec in 2021, it is expanding further this year by creating a joint venture with the Jeantet group.

Ludovic Ouvry, its chairman and founder, declares about 20 Years:
“For twenty years, Ouvry has asserted its status as a French company and industrial group expert in the CBRN field in Europe and around the world. Innovative and creative, resilient and reliable, eco-responsible and cyber-responsible, Ouvry brings an expanded CBRN offering to protection against exposure to very high temperatures since its acquisition of SULITEC. »

This success story is manifested today by its international character: a joint venture in the United Arab Emirates, a subsidiary in Belgium, and more than 75% of turnover generated from exports to more than 45 countries.

It is now creating a joint venture with the JEANTET industrial group, a specialist in technical butyl based in Saint-Claude, in Jura. This new company called JOBEL will be based in the Ain department in a 5,500m² factory where new machines will be installed, notably for the production of overboots and gloves in CBRN butyl. Ultimately, within a year, the objective is to achieve one million euros in turnover and recruit around forty people.

About Ouvry

Ouvry designs and manufactures its products with a French and European supply chain; more than 200,000 overalls have been manufactured for the ministries of interior, defense and health of more than 45 countries
CSR is one of the company’s priorities, citizen commitment is a reality with several of its employees who are reservists of the French armies. Furthermore, Ouvry seeks to move away from the throwaway culture, for example, its overalls are washable and reusable.
