In order to offer permanent innovations, Ouvry invests in various research programs that focus on:
- Technical and functional textiles (fire, shocks, stealth, self-decontamination, etc.
- Human factors, such as ergonomics, thermophysiology and sensory perceptions
- CBRN personal body and respiratory protective equipment
- Decontamination technologies (active, absorption, or neutralization) of chemical or biological products and agent
Production
The Ouvry supply chain: innovation and quality at the service of operational staff. Since its creation, Ouvry has constantly developed and improved its production tool, in particular always better controlling its supply chain, which has become a reactive, resilient and reliable industrial unit.
Ouvry controls a mainly French supply chain, endowed with significant and mobilizable production capacities, built in a resilient way:
- Weaving, dyeing, finishing are carried out with regional partners
- Filter media based on activated carbon microspheres, the only European source, are manufactured using high-capacity industrial means
- Ouvry manufactures its specific components such as castings
- The assembly (making, gluing, welding, etc.) is carried out with a network of French manufacturers or directly by Ouvry

OUVRY headquarters are located in Lyon, which is a major industrial and technological center, at the heart of our network of subcontractors, research laboratories and centers of excellence.
Our manufacturing facilities situated a few meters away from the headquarters are based in the former Rhodiacéta spinning building.
OUVRY relies on 3 factories with its subsidiaries SULITEC Composites and JOBEL.
