Ouvry is pleased to announce its participation once again in Eurosatory, the international defense and security exhibition, taking place from June 17 to 21, 2024, at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center. This participation highlights the company’s commitment to innovation and addressing NRBC security challenges.
Eurosatory is the world’s largest international exhibition for land and air-land defense and security, held biennially in Paris. It is organized by the French land defense and security industry association (GICAT), a French professional association representing the interests of land and air-land defense and security industries, of which we have the privilege of being a part.
GICAT plays a crucial role in the organization of Eurosatory by mobilizing its members and facilitating interactions among various sector stakeholders, such as companies, governmental institutions, and international delegations. Thus, Eurosatory provides OUVRY with an ideal platform to showcase its latest innovations in individual CBRN protection and decontamination.
As a specialist in protecting individuals and assets against NBC threats for armed and internal security forces, OUVRY is eager to share its cutting-edge solutions with key players in the global defense industry. This international exhibition allows OUVRY to communicate its global reach, with over 75% of its revenue coming from export sales.
OUVRY a system company, stands out in the field of decontamination and protection. In the field of protection, the company specializes in two different types of personal protective equipment: body and respiratory PPE. OUVRY is set to present its innovative new products in each of these categories at Eurosatory.
Among this year’s innovations, OUVRY presents the TARGET 2® filter gloves. Specifically developed for Intervention Forces, Law Enforcement, and Armed Forces, these gloves allow handling of weapons, radios and electronics systems, etc. Based on user feedback and designed to better meet market needs, they are an improved version of the TARGET® gloves already used by many special intervention units.
The TARGET 2® gloves are made of leather, a flame-retardant, liquid-toxic-repellent outer fabric, and a new-generation, thin, stretchable filter medium with activated carbon microbeads (steam protection). A metacarpal reinforcement provides good mechanical protection. The thumb and index finger are touchscreen compatible. The fitted cut ensures an excellent fit and optimal compatibility with NRBC suits.
On the other hand, OUVRY will highlight the CFO® CBR filter, which offers protection against a wide range of chemical (including chemical warfare agents and industrial toxins), biological, and radiological (iodine vapors and radioactive derivatives) risks. The CFO CBR revolutionizes the field by replacing three specific canisters, significantly easing logistics with 20 years of storage.
Additionally, during the Eurosatory exhibition, participants will have the opportunity to attend numerous captivating conferences from Monday to Friday. Among them, a relevant conference titled “European Sovereignty and Transatlantic Alliance: Challenges and Opportunities for the Defense Industrial Base” is scheduled for Tuesday. On Wednesday, another key conference will address “Assessment and Prospects for the Consolidation of the Defense Sector in France.” Finally, on Thursday, the conference “The Future of the French Army’s Textile Sector” will examine upcoming trends and developments in military textiles.
OUVRY is proud to exhibit at the EDEN Cluster pavilion as an active member of this cluster of excellence dedicated to innovation and security, bringing together around a hundred SMEs in the defense, security, and safety sectors in France. The EDEN Cluster plays a crucial role in our innovation approach and our commitment to staying at the forefront of the defense and security industry. OUVRY will showcase its latest technological advancements at the EDEN pavilion for the first time in a large stand over 50 m².
The OUVRY team will be present to discuss specific protection needs and provide detailed information on the company’s tailored solutions. The company will be located at stand G 279 in Hall 6.
